Upon disconnection from the server, players may be presented with an error similar to the one pictured above. This error may also appear when attempting to connect to a server that is offline, such as the PTU server if it is not available to you. Should this occur, wait 15-30 minutes, double check that you are logging into the correct server, and then attempt to login again.
If the issue is not resolved try the following:
- Switch to a fully wired network connection if you are usually using a wireless Internet connection.
- Check that your Ethernet drivers are fully up to date.
- Reset your home network. You will need to follow the instructions for your network hardware or those provided by your Internet Service Provider for this step.
- When selecting to login to the universe, change the option from Best to the closest region to your physical location.
Should even that fail, gather your game and system info logs and files and include them in a ticket to RSI Support.
If you receive this error during game-play but your internet connection is still available (for example you can still see other players moving behind the error message), and are unable to dismiss the error without the game closing, please report this on the Issue Council.
