Buying an Event Ticket
When purchasing a ticket for an event, such as CitizenCon, attendees are asked to provide their name during checkout before the order can be placed. The name that is on a player's RSI account under the Address Book will be auto-filled into the form. This will also be where the reminder to provide the correct name, any age limits for the venue, and the legal agreement of consent for any photos or video that may be taken at the event will appear.
Players must agree to this before continuing and it is very important that the name on this order matches the name that is on the physical ID that will be presented at the event.
Where to find event tickets
Players will find any Event Ticket or RSVPs within the Comms section of their RSI account, shown below:
When tickets are ready to be retrieved, we will update backers through email and the Comm-link page.
How to Update the Name on a Ticket
Navigate to the Comms section of your Account and click the Edit button next to your ticket.
The name must match what is on the attendee's valid, official ID. Handles, Monikers or other unofficial names will not be accepted.
Tickets will remain open for any required updates until 30 days before the event, at which point they are "locked down". When the lock down goes into effect, only support can alter the names. Once the tickets become available for downloading, no further changes can be made.
Can I Get A Refund For My Ticket?
Refunds are available within 30 days of ticket purchase to the original payment method. After 30 days, CIG can convert the amount to store credit instead. Within 30 days of the event, no refunds or store credit conversions are available.
