Gifting Restrictions
There are a few things which will prevent a player from sending a pledge as a gift to another player:
- The pledge was not acquired from the pledge store with the "Buying as a gift?" option checked.
- A gift pledge cannot be purchased with any amount of store credit.
- If the value of gifts you have already sent would total more than $1000, then you will not be able to send any further gifts for 24 hours.
For pledges acquired before October 30th, 2026...
- Game packages, standalone ships, and other pledge store items may be gifted once. Once a pledge has been gifted it will be ‘locked’ to the account on which it has been accepted.
- Your protected game access pledge(s) cannot be gifted.
- Pledges acquired through the use of Store Credit, either in full or in part, cannot be gifted or traded.
- High value pledges (above $1,000 USD) cannot be gifted or traded.
- Pledges acquired from special promotions or rewards (like the Aegis Sabre Raven from the Intel SSD promotion) cannot be traded.
RSI Support will not assist with circumventing these restrictions.
