As mentioned in our announcement on Spectrum as well as the additional post clarifying some further community questions, the time has come for everyone to set their Game Access Pledge! This pledge will be protected from being accidentally gifted away or reclaimed for store credit to ensure that players can retain their access to our games.
This feature will be available until November 1st, 2026, at which point the access pledge(s) will be set.

Game Access Selection
Below are the steps to find the place to select and confirm your protected pledges:
- Login to your account on the RSI website.
- Click on your account icon in the upper right.
- Select the My Hangar option from the list.
- On the new page, click the GAME ACCESS option from the list on the left.
This will bring up a listing of all of your currently attributed pledges that can provide access to any of our games, which are Star Citizen and Squadron 42.
Choosing Your Protected Pledges
Depending on how many pledges you have that provide game access, this list could be very small or have many options to choose from. Regardless of which category you fall into, you will want to double check which pledges are set as your protected game access pledge.
The currently set pledges will be marked with an orange highlighted lock icon that says either SC GAME ACCESS or SQ42 GAME ACCESS. An example of this is below:

If you wish to change any of these selections, clicking on the SELECT SC or SELECT SQ42 buttons located on the other eligible pledges will instantly change the protected pledge to that one. Below is another example where we've decided to change our protected pledge to be the VIP HIGH ADMIRAL pledge which contains access for both games:

These protected pledges will also be marked as such when viewing the entirety of your hangar, but the selection can only be changed from the Game Access menu option.
The Game Library
This is a new section under your RSI Account Settings page, which can be accessed from your RSI Account Dashboard. Here, the games available on your account will be listed with a bit of information about them.
During this selection period, clicking on the games here will take you to the Game Access Selection page, which we went over above. The exact pledges and their contents can be viewed further from there.

How long do I have to do this?
This selection system will be available for players to use until November 1st, 2026!
You have until then to decide which of your pledges you want to have set as your protected Game Access Pledge. Players can freely switch their selected protected pledges as many times as they like until this date, after which the choice will be locked in.
I've run into some problems selecting my access pledges!
If for some reason you are having trouble with the Game Access selection, the first things to try will be either disabling browser addons/plugins, or trying again using a different web browser.
If the problems continue, please report the issue in detail by placing a ticket to RSI Support and we will get it to the people that need to see it.
