Check the size of your ship!
Certain hangars in the 'verse are not built to handle the larger sized vessels that are available for players to use. If you are having difficulty recovering your ship at your personal hangar, check to ensure your hangar is of the proper size. You may need to go to a different location away from where your personal hangar is located to be granted a temporary hangar that has a larger capacity.
By default a player should be granted a hangar capable of handling the largest ship in their fleet, however acquiring ships after their hangar has been assigned will not automatically upgrade the hangar to a larger size. The ability to upgrade hangar size and how to accomplish it in-game is being discussed and worked on for the future.
If your ship is getting stored too quickly at the hangar platform...
...spawn a different ship first, then spawn your intended ship. If you do not have multiple ships to spawn, then as soon as the ship is spawned on the platform, file an insurance claim on it immediately before the ship disappears. This will correct the problem for the new ship.
The ASOP Terminal returned an error message
Carefully read any error message that is returned. These messages will most often give you information on why your ship is not available for you at the current time and generally what you will need to do or wait for to be able to get your ship.
At the current moment, we are very aware of the "Failed to retrieve vehicle" error that looks like this:
Should you encounter this error, please add all information that you can by adding your experience and information to our Issue Council.
Most of the time, this can be resolved by hitching a ride to another location and attempting to retrieve your ships from there instead. However, if going to a different system fails to resolve this, then you can try purchasing some cargo into the ship that is receiving this error before traveling to another location.
There are duplicate ships in the ASOP Terminal
If this happens, attempt to spawn the ship with the highest numerical value, such as "Aurora MR - 3". In general, one of the ships in the list should be flyable, regardless of how many duplicates there are.
We can't stress enough how important it is to report errors encountered in the correct place, which is the Issue Council. If you are constantly encountering a specific error or other issue with your ships, adding your repetition steps and info will help us find them and fix them.
