Currently we are aware of and tracking an issue where players may find themselves at the loading screen for the persistent universe (PU) for an indefinite amount of time. Typically this may occur after leaving the PU while being a member of a party or after previously encountering trouble forming a party, or after logging out in a ship's bed. We recommend avoiding ship bed logout until this has been fully resolved if you frequently experience this error.
Workarounds
- If you were playing with a friend before you left the game while on-board a ship and encountered this error, if your ship is still present in game, have your friend destroy your ship.
- Double check that your computer meets the minimum system requirements, particularly storage drive specs and ample room for the game plus extra free space.
- Do some home network troubleshooting, like power cycling any modems and/or routers.
- Temporarily disable (or enable) any Virtual Private Network (VPN) that you may have access to.
- If you use NordVPN, try turning off the "Web Protection" feature.
- Close all other unrelated programs and applications.
